Acuvue Oasys is a contact lens which uses Hydraclear Plus technology to deliver all day comfort to even the driest eyes. Hydraclear Plus generates a unique wetting agent which maintains the comfort of the contact lens. Acuvue Oasys is also a high UV blocking contact lens which is ideal for wearers who spend a lot of time outdoors. Lenses are available in base curves BC 8.4 and 8.8.
Acuvue Oasys should be removed and cleaned before going to sleep and it is recommended that they are replaced with a fresh pair every 2-4 weeks. Some patients can wear Acuvue Oasys for one week continuously. However, not all eyes are suited to continuous wear of Acuvue Oasys lenses and only an Optometrist can determine the appropriate wearing schedule for a patient.
