Dailies Total 1 Multifocal are daily disposable multifocal contact lenses that combine the high oxygen permeability of silicone hydrogel with the exceptional softness and very high water content (80%) of a hydrophilic gel. The result is unmatched all-day comfort and exceptional quality. Because the lens is silky soft and slippery, removing it from the eye may feel unfamiliar at first; it is easier to remove the lenses with completely dry fingers. Multifocal contact lenses are suitable for correcting the vision problems that come with age (from the forties onwards), providing excellent vision at every distance — near, far and intermediate.
Dailies Total 1 are the world’s first silicone hydrogel lenses coated with a soft gel material on both the inner and the outer surface. The water content is 33% at the centre of the lens but 80% at the lens surface, close to the natural water content of the eye. The silicone hydrogel material inside the lens lets up to 6 times more oxygen reach the surface of the eye than traditional 1-day lenses. The result is a contact lens that suits sensitive eyes and eyes prone to dryness particularly well. The lenses are available in base curve BC 8.5.
Daily disposable lenses need no care solution and are thrown away after use. To avoid problems, ask your optometrist or eye doctor for handling instructions and a wearing schedule.
