PureVision contact lenses by Bausch & Lomb are monthly disposables made from silicone hydrogel, with unique AerGel technology to repel debris and keep eyes healthy and moist all day long. PureVision contact lenses are made of AerGel material which delivers an exceptional quality of vision combined with outstanding comfort and uncompromised eye health. Pure Vision contacts give you exceptional vision because of the high-definition aspheric design and are intended to give up to 30 days of pure comfort – you just replace them once a month. The AerGel material from which PureVision contact lenses are fabricated is designed with two things in mind: to repel debris and harmful proteins which can affect the health of your eyes, and to stay moist all day for additional comfort. PureVision contact lenses allow a natural amount of oxygen to make contact with the eye surface which again adds to the long-term health and clear whiteness of your eyes. Lenses are available in base curves BC 8.3 and BC 8.6.
PureVision lenses should be removed and cleaned before going to sleep and it is recommended that they are replaced with a fresh pair every 4 weeks. PureVision can also be worn for four weeks continuously. However, not all eyes are suited to continuous wear of PureVision lenses and only an Optometrist can determine the appropriate wearing schedule for a patient.
