The Biofinity Aquaform lens material is naturally wettable meaning that it retains water within the lens making it soft, moist and resistant to dehydration and protein deposits. Biofinity contact lenses also provide lasting comfort that won’t rinse off as there are no added surface treatments or wetting agents. With these lenses, you are safely on your way to a comfortable and healthy lens-wearing experience.The aspheric front surface lens design of Biofinity contact lenses also provides enhanced vision. This is achieved thanks to the light being better focused to a common local point giving greater image resolution and increased depth of focus for sharper vision. The unique combination of a lens which is oxygenated, moist and incredibly soft, make for a truly exceptional silicone hydrogel lens.
Biofinity lenses should be removed and cleaned before going to sleep and it is recommended that they are replaced with a fresh pair every 4 weeks. Some patients can wear Biofinity for 2-4 weeks continuously. However, not all eyes are suited to continuous wear of Biofinity lenses and only an Optometrist can determine the appropriate wearing schedule for a patient.
